AC tune-up - very thorough.

I recently switched to Altoff Services to do my annual A/C and Heater maintenance. They came this week to do the A/C. they did a thorough job in testing my A/C's cooling efficiency. they tested refrigerant levels.They removed the outside unit's shroud and thoroughly cleaned the unit. This was the first time anyone did that. I was very happy with the work they did.

I was out of the state when my son texted about the water leak in the basement. Althoff responded promptly and resolved the issue. So happy with the service they provide!

My A/C stopped working due to an unusual problem. Edwin used excellent analytical skills to find the solution. He was professional, thorough, and an excellent communicator. I highly recommend Edwin and Althoff

We had new a/c compressor and attic fan unit installed in the spring. Team was efficient and did a great job. Completed just as stated. Electricity bill went from above average for neighbors to below average according to ComEd report. It has been a lot of savings (plus house is cool - old one wasn't working well). Technicians have been wonderful in ensuring working just right (Ryan Staral, thanks! ... Brian Pulaski, thanks!). The staff calling us for our maintenance check (free with install) were so polite and accommodating. Really stellar service!

Jon at Althoff was a lifesaver. Had a leak that several other companies were unable to fix. Jon had a great attitude and resolved my problem quickly. I will be using Althoff in the future.

Yesterday we had our furnace, air conditioning unit, air filter system and whole house humidifier replaced. Alex Florita and Wiktor Kruzel were the two technicians who removed the old equipment and installed the new products. To say the installation was flawless, incredibly clean and perfectly done would be a gross understatement. These craftsmen did a fantastic job, were very careful in our home and answered all of our questions completely. We , as usual with Althoff, were totally satisfied. Today, Jesse Hernandez from Althoff came to us to replace our water heater. He was incredible. He was friendly, professional, and went way beyond my expectations. He answered every one of our questions, provided us with advice on how to best use the equipment and did an outstanding installation of our new tankless water heater. We have been customers of Althoff Home Services for over thirty years Over that time we have worked with many technicians and staff members to address our needs. I can say, without reservation, that all of these people met or exceeded our expectations. Jesse, Alex and Wiktor FAR exceeded those expectations. Jesse is an incredible technician. Erik was quick, kind, and clean. Excellent service as part of my regular AC maintenance plan.

Althoff just finished the second job at our home this year. They do everything at the highest possible level. Great workmanship with great attitudes. Would recommend!!

Brian was our tech at my dad's place. He did an HVAC checkup. My 99 yr old dad wanted to go to the basement with Brian so she could see what Brian recommended. He took the time to explain everything to dad, which I thought was so nice, given the fact it took dad awhile to get down the stairs! Great service.
